Their Session: Asbury Park Engagement Session
Are you kidding me! How amazing is Amanda and Johns Asbury Park Engagement session? Fun fact for you. These two actually booked me for their wedding day before they were even engaged! Which made me fall in love with them even more. I knew before their Asbury Park engagement session that these two were going to be super playful and a blast to work with. I was not wrong! They brought all of that child like energy I love to see in couples. Amanda and John knew that they wanted to have part of their Asbury Park engagement session at Johnny Macs where they had their first date. After that we would finish their session on the beach. I had never been to Johnny Macs and it certainly did not disappoint! The inside has a dark atmosphere and has tons of things to look at. Also fun fact, with your beer purchase you get a free pizza! Even more of a fun fact, Dave Portnoy of Barstool Sports has done one of his world famous pizza reviews here! Such an awesome place!
Their Story
Before Amanda and Johns Asbury Park engagement session, they met on Bumble. They had their first date on Sept 11, 2020 at Johnny Mac’s in Asbury Park. They enjoyed the night listening to great music and learning about each other. Their next date Amanda invited him to come up and watch football up at her condo with some friends of hers. This is when Amanda says John fell in love. When he saw how much she loved football. Through the past 16 months they have always been there for each other whether it was Amanda having a rough time with work or John getting through the police academy, they always had each others backs. They dated for about 15 months before and John couldn’t wait any longer and decided to propose to the love of her life.
Their Proposal
They were planning a trip to the Poconos with some friends and John decided to go ring shopping the week before the trip. He planned the whole thing with Amanda and his friends Jill and Mikey. The plan was they would all go out to dinner and Jill and Mikey would leave dinner early to go back and decorate the AirBnb. When Amanda and John got back to the house he brought her over to the rose petals and proposed to Amanda! Even though Amanda knew a proposal was coming she did not expect it to be here on this Pocono’s trip and was totally shocked and surprised!
