Their Session: Asbury Park Engagement Session

I’m so excited to show you guys Stef and Joe’s Asbury Park engagement session. I have to start off by saying Stef and I met at Orange Theory. One morning before class started, I was chatting aloud with the front desk worker. The desk worker happens to work for a wedding planning company. It was pretty quiet in there so Stef over heard our conversation. She came up to me and let me know that she’s looking for a wedding photographer. I gave her my instagram and we jumped on a call the next day! I can’t say I’ve ever had that one happen before! Stef and Joe knew they wanted to have their session at Asbury park to get a mix of boardwalk and beach. They also just so happened to get the most amazing glowing sunset!

Their Story: Stef and Joe

Joe and Stef met at work in the same office. Stef always thought Joe was cute, so like any typical modern day romance Stef made the move and slid into his Instagram direct messages. Their first date was a typical day in Hoboken with pizza, scooters, and Pier 13. Stef and Joe then followed that off with a Shawn Mendes concert and the rest is history! The two have pretty much been inseparable since then!

Joe and Stef got engaged on May 1 of 2021. The couple had just gotten a miniature dachshund. Also known as a weenie puppy so they took him to the weenie walk on the boardwalk in Asbury Park. Naturally, they decided to take their dog, Parlay, onto the beach for the first time when Joe got down on one knee and proposed. Cheers and both their families were watching from the boardwalk. They celebrated at the Wonder Bar and followed it with a nice dinner. “It was the perfect day!”
