Their Session: Divine Park and Beach
Oh my goodness! I’m still obsessing over Danielle and Mikes Spring Lake engagement session. These two are contagious to be around. So much love and laughter surrounding them that you can’t help but smile. We began their session at Divine park with their two doodles. From their we sent the pups off with their babysitter and hit all of the best parts of the park. From there we headed down to the beach where they enjoyed some beers, rolled in the sand, and splashed in the water to finish off their session.
Their Story: Danielle and Mike
Mike and Danielle met on the streets of Rutgers at the beginning of Danielle’s junior year and Mikes senior year. Danielle shares that she saw an attractive guy carrying a case of Miller Lite and felt compelled to ask him if she could have one. They clicked immediately and ended up hanging out the rest of the night. Danielle says that she wishes she could say the rest is history, but it took about 9 months of neither of them “wanting a relationship” just for him to cave one week after graduating.
They got engaged on July 17, 2021, a day before Danielles birthday! She thought they were grabbing a birthday lunch with her two best friends. They got out of the car at Beach Plum Farm in Cape May, and Danielle says she was instantly suspicious. This peaked when they began to walk through the gardens and she noticed a photographer starting to take their photos. Finally, Mike got down on one knee and popped the question! After many tears and some photos to celebrate, they headed to Atlantic City where Mike surprised Danielle with a beautiful dinner with both of their entire families. This was the first time in 7 years they had all spent time together! They were planning to end the night with a final drink at the beach bar, but mike had other plans. Danielle walked down the ramp onto the sand to be met by 40 of her closest friends! They celebrated all night long until 4am at one of Danielles favorite places in the world, Boogie Nights. They ended the magical day gambling with her parents until about 5am! Is it not obvious yet why I love these two?!
